Lewis Silkin

Law firm Lewis Silkin has an extremely highly regarded Employment, Reward and Immigration department with over 80 specialist employment lawyers. EFA

The Employers Forum on Age (EFA) is an independent network of leading employers who recognise the value of an age diverse workforce. Founded in 1996 by 18 of the UK's top employers, the EFA sets the agenda for age and employment issues in the UK. In addition to supporting employers, the EFA influences Government, business and trade unions, and campaigns for real, practical change in issues such as flexible retirement and the age discrimination legislation.

 

ACAS

The Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS) is a Crown non-departmental public body of the Government of the United Kingdom. Its purpose is to improve organisations and working life through the promotion and facilitation of strong industrial relations practice.

ACAS has produced guidance to employers on how to operate without a Default Retirement Age.
