Welcome to agediscrimination.info

Re-launched and updated to co-incide with the second anniversary of the age regulations, this site is a one-stop source of information to employers, journalists and others interested in age discrimination both in the UK and overseas. As well as providing a wealth of data and guidance on the age legislation, it includes a comprehensive summary of international age discrimination laws provided by law firms from the Ius Laboris international employment law alliance.

Lewis Silkin and Sacker & Partners have also produced a book on age discrimination (an 'excellent analysis of age discrimination legislation' - Michael Rubenstein, Equal Opportunities Review, 1 October 2008). For more information and details on how to order your copy click here.

Over time the site will feature important legal cases which will help define the scope of age discrimination laws in the UK. If you have any suggestions or contributions for the site please contact us.
